Who we are
The seed for Dear Self Healing began in 2018 when the founder, Amber, began her own in-depth healing journey. After dealing with both physical and mental health issues, she turned to naturopathy, ecotherapy, herbalism, community-based conversational-style healing, spiritual healing, and yoga.
A large part of her healing journey was finding her connection to nature and realizing the earth already provides all we need. The other major factor in her own personal healing journey was gaining a sense of community and belonging. She strives to create that environment for others as well.
Amber is an herbalist with a degree in business management and entrepreneurship. She is a mother of 3 children and she hopes to pass onto them the power of self-love, love for humanity, and love for nature.
What we do
We provide products and education that allow people to connect to themselves, the natural world around them, and humanity as a whole.
We aim to create a sense of community and create a safe space for people to have healing conversations. Healing is a collective process, not an individual activity.
We believe everyone should have the access to the knowledge and resources to heal, and that social or economic status should have no hinderance on one’s ability to connect with nature, their self, and their community. We actively work to remove those barriers to access. Self-love, self-care, and self-healing should not be considered a luxury.
We put at least 50% of our profits back into the community through monetary donations as well as volunteer our time.
What we believe
We believe in self-love and healing from the inside out and outside in. It is a process that happens from multiple directions simultaneously.
We believe to love oneself is to love all humanity, and to love all humanity is to love oneself.
We believe nature and people are one, and the earth has already given us all we need.
We believe that healing is a journey that we are all on together. Life is about the journey, not the destination.
We believe there are some merits to western medicine, but we also believe in the natural ways of healing. Both have their benefits and limitations, and a person must listen to their own body.
We believe that when we heal the earth and others, we also heal ourselves.
